For Freedom Leisure, Woking Leisure Centre
Friday Night Project is a multi sport activity evening commencing 6th September between 6 and 8 pm that aims at engaging young people between the ages of 11-18. There are a range of different activities including; football, badminton, Dodgeball, Handball, Cricket and Rounders. Table tennis, indoor tennis and giant inflatables.
We also now have a new SEN "Chill out Zone" - Board Games, Beanbag Sofa, Table Tennis.
We are looking for volunteers to help take part in running the sessions and assisting the coaches. Interested in sport, able to work with young people. This will involve: - Greeting the young people and signing them in - Ensuring there is enough sports equipment - Helping with the sports sessions - Assisting the coaches with drills and games - Escorting the young people from different sessions if necessary Level 1 assistant coaching course or equivalent (activator course) for 10 sessions (20 hours).
