Are you passionate about poetry and the arts? We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Facilitator to join our Woking Poetry Hub. This role is ideal for someone who loves literature and is eager to help foster a vibrant community of poets and poetry enthusiasts. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and conducting weekly poetry sessions. Help manage the logistics of poetry events, including setup and breakdown. Engage with participants, providing a welcoming and supportive environment. Collect feedback from attendees to improve future events. Work closely with the lead facilitator to develop engaging and diverse programming. Requirements: A strong passion for the written word and community engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. No previous facilitation experience required; training will be provided. Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared to meet the demands of the role. This will include session planning, participant engagement techniques, and event management skills.
