As a Social Group Facilitator, you will help to make the social group a welcoming space to all members and ensure our peer-to-peer support group sessions (social groups) run smoothly. You’ll work with the group lead to facilitate session activities. These vary from week to week but can include drawing, painting and cooking. You will support members as they build life skills, resilience and strong support networks. You’ll also help members develop their personal and professional skills in line with their needs. Most importantly, you’ll be a friendly face to talk to each week.

What skills do I need?

We encourage applications from everybody, but these are particular qualities that we would find ideal in a volunteer. - Upbeat, personable and compassionate - Prompt and reliable - Kind and caring - Non-judgemental - Optimistic - Attentive
