We are looking for volunteers that can help with any of the following:

Bike Repair & Maintenance Support

Assist with refurbishing bicycles alongside trained mechanics

Use recycled parts to repair, service and customer bikes for community sales

Help maintain a safe organised workspace by cleaning, sorting and arranging tools and materials

Mentorship & Community Engagement

Welcome and engage with community members visit our sites ensuring a friendly and inclusive environment

Encourage and support participants in learning and developing new bike maintenance skills

Support individuals on their journey to build skills and gain work experience

Inventory & Stock Management

Assist with ordering bike parts and supplies as required for repairs and refurbishments

Maintain an inventory system keeping accurate records of stock levels

Help manage tools and spare parts to ensure efficient, waste minimising use

Sales & Marketing Support

Photograph and advertise refurbished bikes for sale on our website and social media platforms

Write engaging and informative descriptions for each bike emphasising their quality, unique features and affordability

Respond to inquiries from potential buyers providing information and arranging pickups as necessary

Community Outreach & Relationship Building 

Build and maintain relationships with local cycle clubs, schools and community groups

Participate in events to raise awareness of charity’s work and engage new volunteers


What skills do I need?

You don’t have to be an experienced mechanic at all, just keen to learn and to be part of an inclusive and supportive community
