For Girlguiding
We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed people to help our leaders run Guides meetings. Guides are girls aged between 10 and 14 who. Guides meetings are engaging, fun and exciting! We encourage the girls to become as involved in their progamme of events as possible.
We have opportunities available at Guide units in Goldsworth Park, Knaphill, West End, Bisley and St John's.
We're looking for people who work well as part of a team, who have a sense of fun, who are committed and who want to make a difference to young girls' lives.
In return we'll provide you with an opportunity to improve your communication skills, meet new people, build and develop your confidence, complete your safe space training and DBS check (no charge) and most of all have a lot of fun!
If you decide to continue and train as a leader, then you'll have the opportunity to gain your First Response First Aid qualification as well as the chance to work through the Adult Leadership Qualification online and with a mentor, and you'll also have the chance to take Guides away on residentials both in the UK and across the world.
There are so many opportunities for you to develop your strengths and abilities.
