Are you a BSL user? Would you like to use your skills where they truly matter? We’re seeking a caring volunteer who communicates in British Sign Language (BSL) to spend time with someone who is Deaf. For many Deaf people, opportunities to have relaxed, natural conversation in BSL can be limited. Your ability to communicate directly - without barriers - can open the door to friendship, confidence and belonging. Through regular visits, you’ll share conversation, interests and everyday moments in a way that feels comfortable and empowering. Simply having someone who “gets it” can ease isolation and make the week feel brighter and more connected. This is a flexible, rewarding role where your unique skill becomes a lifeline to meaningful interaction. Full support is provided and travel expenses are paid. If you are a BSL user, you have something truly valuable to share.
