For Woking Blackhawks Basketball Club
Woking Blackhawks has two Ladies squads that successfully compete in the Wessex Basketball League. In the 2022/23 season, the first team won both the Richard Bell Cup and the Wessex Ladies Division One playoff Final, in the 2023/24 season they were the runners up in both competitions. There is now a vacancy for a volunteer Basketball Coach for the Ladies squad. Training sessions and Home games are usually at Woking College on Wednesday evenings and Tuesday evenings at the Sportsbox. Away games also take place on various weekday evenings. The coach will • Ideally be a Level 2 Basketball coach. The Club will assist in gaining qualifications if appropriate. • Liaise and coordinate activities with the Squad Team Managers and other coaches. • Coach training sessions. • Coach matches (Home and Away if possible). • Comply and adhere to the Club's policies including Safeguarding and Equity policies.
