What we’re looking for:
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
Familiarity with tax returns (charity or small organisation helpful)
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Time commitment:
Approximately a few hours once a year, with minimal additional input if needed
Location:
Remote (with occasional visits if desired)

1. Basic Accounting / Bookkeeping Knowledge
Understanding of income and expenditure records
Ability to organise simple financial information
2. Experience with Tax Returns
Confident completing a simple annual tax return
Familiar with HMRC processes (for small organisations or charities is helpful)
3. Attention to Detail
Accuracy when reviewing figures
Ensuring information is correct and complete
4. Organisation
Keeping records clear and easy to follow
Managing deadlines (even though it’s only once a year)
5. Confidentiality
Handling financial information responsibly and sensitively
