Business Engagement Officer

After four years of fantastic achievements & growth for our not for profit, we've realised it's time to get ready for the future. Toward the end of 2022, our company created a vision for how Blossom LGBT CIC will look within the next 5 years, this starts with a fresh executive director team, a company-wide restructure, and a rebrand.

An area we know that Blossom LGBT CIC needs to focus on is how we work with corporate entities. As our business engagement officer you'll work with local, regional, and global businesses to try and engage them in the work we do at Blossom LGBT CIC. The role might include setting up training engagements, meeting with senior leaders to talk about Blossom, promoting our partnership packages as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility work, and creating meaningful partnerships. You'll also look to create opportunities for us to engage with business through speaking, joint work, and sharing branding.

What skills do I need?

We understand the barriers to LGBTQ+ people gaining appropriate experience and skills in leadership or management functionalities. We are dedicated to providing opportunities to grow. If you are passionate about one of our roles but do not currently have all of the skills, attributes & experience, we would still like to hear from you as we recruit on passion & potential - not just experience.

- Strong understanding of business & corporate entities. - Social and able to make strong relationships with professionals. - Good Interpersonal skills - Able to negotiate - Not afraid to cold call or knock on doors when required!
