After four years of fantastic achievements & growth for our not for profit, we've realised it's time to get ready for the future. Toward the end of 2022, our company created a vision for how Blossom LGBT CIC will look within the next 5 years, this starts with a fresh executive director team, a company-wide restructure, and a rebrand.

In the words of Dolly Parton, It costs a lot of money to look this cheap... And we need a fundraising officer to help us keep up appearances.

The fundraising officer will be expected to support and often lead in the development of fundraising events, crowdfunding, and come up with innovative ways to raise money to fund our work. You'll also work with our bid writer from time to time. The time commitment required can change on a weekly basis, we don't set expectations for the amount of time that we work as volunteers, together, we will agree on key performance indicators which will be used to monitor your performance in the role.

As a small grassroots organisation we are pretty nimble and fast-paced but also have areas we know need to be improved. You'll need to be supportive of change and understand that greatness doesn't come overnight - but we're getting there.

You'll need to be a self-starter who is willing to work independently to drive success, ensuring your work aligns with our organisational-wide goals and vision. On the flip side, you'll need to be willing to work as part of a team to support department-specific fundraising plans & to understand our wider work. Together we'll aim to grow our resources and create an organisation that is truly fit for tomorrow.

We know this is a big role so we also offer the choice to job share with a focus on either: Corporate Fundraising, Crowd Funding, or Campaign Focused fundraising.
